The expression I talked about today...
"The Man" a slang phrase referring to any authoritative figure in a position of power... e.g. the government, the police, the boss of your company.
"the man is keeping me down" = oppression
"to stick it to the man"= to resist authority, to fight back in disobedience, to oppose the power of "the man"
