Phrasal Verb: to pig out
When you think about a pig, what image comes to mind?
Usually when we use the word 'pig', we are using it as a noun, but here we are using it informally as a verb.
This phrasal verb refers to a specific eating situation that we sometimes find ourselves in. Choolate, chips, candy, pizza, ice cream, a buffet
to pig out on s.t. : to eat a lot of food all at once, often refers to junk/unhealthy food and not... vegetables.
"After going to the gym, I like to watch TV and pig out on junk food."
"I'm starving! Let's pig out after school."
